Senior Account Manager

  • Up to 100k Package
  • Mat Leave cover position | 6 month fixed term contract
  • Based in the Sydney CBD working with a branding and strategy agency

About the role:

Serve as the driving force and daily manager for client projects, ensuring clear communication with colleagues and clients, delivering exceptional work, and developing new business within your client portfolio while helping to secure new opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Present convincing arguments to support creative development, ensuring our work and recommendations are compelling.
  • Manage project profitability by tracking time, updating costs, and addressing scope creep with clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee financial administration, including purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciling billing on larger projects.
  • Forecast project income four months in advance, plan resources, and assist in preparing new business proposals.
  • Foster strong client relationships, manage expectations, address concerns, and identify business development opportunities.
  • Take the lead in project management, coordinating estimates, time lines, briefs, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.

About you:

  • Minimum of four year's experience in a client management role within branding or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding and passion for brand and design, with the ability to inspire and manage others.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, combined with meticulous organisation and efficient time management.
  • Proficient in relevant computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
