Account Manager

  • Based on the Surry Hills
  • Hybrid working while with only one client
  • Up to $85,000 package

About them:

The Account Manager acts as the client's key representative, managing marketing projects, timelines, budgets, and proposals. They ensure the company meets client needs while driving growth by identifying opportunities and supporting new business efforts. The role requires problem-solving, internal coordination, and professional handling of business development inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while supporting Account Directors and Client Services directors with day-to-day issues.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively address them, responding quickly and efficiently to client requests.
  • Seek and thoroughly understand client feedback, communicating it clearly and promptly to the relevant internal teams.
  • Build strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as the key day-to-day contact and supporting senior team members.
  • Write clear and thorough task briefs, and manage projects from brief to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to grow existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and contribute to pitches and business development.

About you:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or Senior Account Executive, working with clients in fast-paced environments and delivering end-to-end project management.
  • Strong skills in managing schedules, quotes, and projects, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication, administration, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and a persuasive approach tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Embodies company values with a proactive, problem-solving attitude, a passion for storytelling, and a collaborative mindset to build strong client relationships.
