Become Melbourne are delighted to be celebrating their 5th Anniversary this month. Melbourne launched in 2011 following the success of the Become Sydney operation. Adele Leah who was part of the original Australian founding team in Sydney 2007, moved over to Melbourne to lead and build what has become the influential and ‘go to’ business within the Melbourne creative community.
Adele and her team are not only experts in their field helping to connect talent with creative business needs on a daily basis they demonstrate the creativity, innovation and collaboration that the Become philosophy is all about. The consultants are more than recruiters they are genuinely interested in promoting and influencing the creative market and making a difference.
They will take time out to work with the talent of the future, helping students at universities and colleges on portfolio reviews and cv preparation, to improve how they present their work to future employers and assisting with career guidance. Recently they supported National Freelance Day, by helping people to understand the benefits and challenges of working as a freelancer in the creative sector.
The Melbourne team work with many of Australia’s leading companies but are equally proud to support many small to medium sized enterprises where they have been able to add real value and play a key part in their success.
For the Melbourne team as with all of the people in the Become Group, it’s all about relationship. Through good and bad times we work with talent and clients alike to foster and develop relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
